The Siena Lacrosse program recently welcomed its 11-member Class of 2019 to the Siena College campus. Freshmen Cam Brosh, Scott Bruner, Grant Clark, Keenan Cook, Michael Cox, Nick Forbes, Mike McCarthy, Eric Munn, Mike Reilly, Mike Sullivan and Jack Twohig are the newest additions to the 2016 Saints.

“We are excited to welcome the Class of 2019 to Loudonville and the Siena Lacrosse Family,” said head coach John Svec, who enters his fifth season. “This group of young men are not only excellent lacrosse players, but they are also high character people and quality students who will excel both on the field and in the classroom. With the talent each of these players has, our team is now deeper at each position. This means there will be an even more competitive environment at practice and that is a positive thing for our program.”
A native of Street, Md., Brosh was a both a US Lacrosse and Brine National All-American and was selected to play in the Maryland Senior All-Star Game. A three-time All-County and two-time All-Conference selection at North Harford High, he started every game in goal over his four years with Mavericks and graduated as the program’s all-time leader in saves. Brosh was also named an All-Star at Delaware MVP and played on North Harford’s Senior All-Star team as a freshman.
Jack Twohig
Twohig was a three-time All-League defenseman and two-time All-Area selection at Henderson High and this spring was also tabbed an All Ches-Mont First Team, DLN Second Team and Unionville Times Super Six Scholar. The West Chester product was tabbed the Drew Bauer Blue Collar Game MVP and 2014 Inside Lacrosse Invitational Champion. A defenseman, Twohig also chipped in 31 career goals in four varsity seasons and also played club lacrosse for ManUp and Mesa Fresh whom he helped guide to the 2012 Rising Stars National Championship.
Scott Bruner
Bruner matriculates to Loudonville from Ellicott City, Md. where the attackman had a phenomenal senior season this spring in leading Howard High to a perfect 19-0 season which culminated in a Maryland 4A/3A State Championship. Bruner scored a county-record 88 goals (4.63 per game) and a county-high 117 points this spring en route to being named a US Lacrosse High School All-American, winning the Kelly Award (Maryland 4A/3A Player of the Year) and being tabbed the ALL-USA Maryland Non-MIAA, Baltimore Sun, Howard County, 3D Rising Maryland Public School and the Howard County Times/Columbia Flier Player of the Year. Howard’s all-time leading scorer, Bruner totaled 249 points over his final three seasons in being named a three-time All-County and two-time MSLCA All-State selection. Bruner was also tabbed a Brine Lacrosse Classic Maryland Team selection after scoring a county-high 45 goals his junior year.
Grant Clark
Clark was a US Lacrosse High School All-American, an OHSLA Second Team All-State and a Cincinnati Enquirer First Team All-Region honoree at Archbishop Moeller High this spring. The defenseman out of Mason, Ohio attended the Under Armour Underclassmen Game and Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip and was named an All-Star at Blue Chip 225 Elite, Ohio State and Legacy. Clark played his club lacrosse for Titanium Elite.
Keenan Cook
A native of Courtice, Ontario, Cook becomes the third Canadian on the Saints’ 2016 roster, with all having joined the program from The Hill Academy. The attackman led his Oshawa Blue Knights U19 squad to consecutive Ontario Junior Men’s Field Lacrosse Provincial Championships in both 2013 and 2014 while accumulating 115 points on 78 goals and 37 assists over 17 games. Cook captained the 2014 team en route to being named the top attackman in the Ontario Junior Men’s Field Lacrosse League and an All-Ontario Award recipient. The 2013 Ontario Junior C Lacrosse League Rookie of the Year, Cook was also named an All-Canada and All-Great Lakes All-Star selection. He was a member of the 2014 Brogden Cup National Championship team.
Michael Cox
Cox was selected to the U19 U.S. Junior Lacrosse Team where he recently competed at the U19 Indoor Challenge at Six Nations in Ontario earlier this month. A native of Southlake, Texas, Cox was twice named to Texas Lacrosse Magazine’s Top Midfielders List. He amassed 23 goals and six assists and added 35 groundballs this spring in being named a North District Honorable Mention selection while captaining his Southlake Carroll squad which won the 2015 Bob Patterson Trophy which is awarded annually to the best high school lacrosse team in Texas. Cox was tabbed a 2015 Inside Lacrosse Texas Boys Invitational All-Tournament Team selection and a 2013 Adrenaline High Rollers All-Star. He also played select lacrosse for Blackwolf in Washington, D.C. and Texas United.
Nick Forbes
A native of Raleigh, N.C., Forbes led Cardinal Gibbons High to back-to-back NCHSAA 1A/2A/3A State Championships and was named the MVP of the 2015 final after registering four goals and seven assists while also scoring the game-winning sudden victory goal to capture the title in overtime. A 2015 US Lacrosse High School All-American and News & Observer All-Metro Team selection, the midfielder erupted for 95 points (49 goals, 46 assists) in leading Cardinal Gibbons to an 18-4 record and the No. 1 ranking in the News & Observer.
Mike McCarthy
McCarthy joins the Saints from Dix Hills, N.Y. where he excelled for the Half Hollow Hills West Colts. This spring, the midfielder amassed 44 points (25 goals, 19 assists) and was named an Honorable Mention All-County and an All-Division selection. McCarthy has played 10 years of lacrosse and also competed for five in football.
Eric Munn
Munn matriculates to Loudonville following a postgraduate year at Deerfield (Ma.) Academy where he played both football and lacrosse. A native of Canandaigua, N.Y., he scored 145 points (78 goals, 67 assists) in three varsity seasons at Canandaigua Academy. As a high school senior in 2014, he amassed 61 points (31 goals, 30 assists) in captaining the Braves to the Section V Class B Championship. Munn was named a US Lacrosse Academic All-American, Monroe County Division II Player of the Year, Daily Messenger Co-Player of the Year, Section V First Team and a Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Super 16 Midfield selection. A two-time Section V All-Tournament Team selection, Munn also led Canandaigua Academy to the Section Title in 2013 and was named the Offensive MVP of the 2014 Rochester U.S. Lacrosse Senior All-Star Game. A multi-sport standout, Munn was also named a Monroe County All-Star in both football and indoor track.
Mike Reilly
A native of Ridgewood, N.J., Reilly was named a 2015 US Lacrosse High School All-American and Record Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year and was selected to the New Jersey Chapter of US Lacrosse All-American Team, NJSIAA First Team All-State, First Team All-County, First Team All-Gibbs, First Team All-Suburban, NJ.com All-State First Team and All-Non Public First Team and the USA Today All-NJ Team. The all-time record holder at Bergen Catholic in career scoring (269) and assists (162), the attackman posted single-season program records in both points (135) and assists (85) this spring in leading his high school to its first-ever New Jersey Non-Public State title and Tournament of Champions appearance where he recorded a school-record eight assists in the state title game. Reilly also broke Bergen Catholic’s sophomore scoring record (57) and was a key component in the school winning three straight league titles and two consecutive county crowns.
Mike Sullivan
Sullivan was a three-time Hockomock League All-Star at Franklin High. The Franklin, Mass. product was tabbed a BostonLax All-American and was selected to and participated in the Third Annual STX BostonLax All-American Game this spring. Sullivan was named a Boston Globe All-Scholastic and earned Metro West Daily News First Team All-Star accolades following his junior season in which the defenseman added 18 goals and four assists. The 2013 Underlcassman of the Year, he was also honored as an Eastern Mass All-Star.
