Villanova men’s lacrosse head coach Mike Corrado and his staff are set to welcome the addition 10 freshman to the team for the 2017-18 academic year.

“Our coaching staff is extremely excited to welcome the Class of 2021 to Villanova University,” shared Corrado. “Each one of these student-athletes is exceptional both on the field and in the classroom and we can’t wait to begin working with them.”

Joining the Wildcats this fall will be Corey McManus, Keegan Khan, Colin Hunt, Brendan Haggerty, Stevie Peters, Colin Crowley, Eric Overbay, Dan Fisher, Michael Clark, and Owen Prybylski.

Dan Fisher
FO/Midfield, 6’0, 240, West Deptford, N.J., St. Joseph’s Prep

St. Joseph’s Prep: Earned three varsity in lacrosse for head coach Sean Delaney, three in football for Gabe Infante, and one in wrestling for Scott Mullen…Named to the all-conference first team (2015-17) and an All-American in 2017…During his sophomore season won a state championship in football and played for one in lacrosse…Went 807 for 1076 (.750) from the faceoff X.

Personal: Born November 7, 1998 in Philadelphia, Pa. to Ron and Kellyann Fisher…Has three younger siblings, Kayleigh, Noelle, and Ronald…Plans to major in civil engineering…Chose Villanova for its great mix of great academics and athletics, while also being close to home.

Corey McManus
Attack, 5’10” 215, Summit, N.J., Summit

Summit: Four year letterwinner in lacrosse for Jim Davidson and hockey for Keith Nixon…Earned US Lacrosse All American honors (2016-17)…Named to First Team NJ All-State and First Team All-Conference Fitch Pitt (2016-17)…Netted 139 career goals…In hockey earned First Team All-Conference (2016-17) and All-County (215-17) honors…Awarded the Summit High School Alfred Swick Memorial Student-Athlete Award.

Personal: Born May 21, 1998 in Livingston, N.J. to parents Danny McManus and Kim Cleaves…Has two siblings Keegan and Sean…Father played football at Hamilton College and mother swam at Fairfield University…Chose Villanova because it provides the opportunity to obtain a quality education at a prestigious institution while also playing lacrosse for a respected high-level Division I program.

Keegan Khan
Attack, 6’1”, 175, Chatham, N.J., Delbarton/The Hill Academy

Delbarton/The Hill Academy: Earned two varsity letters at Delbarton for Chuck Ruebling and one year for Brodie Merrill at The Hill Academy…Named Offensive MVP at the Hill Academy (2017) and Pitt/Fitch Division All Stars First Team NJAC American Division First Team…Helped Delbarton win the 2016 State Championship in both lacrosse and hockey…Led the Hill Academy in goals (26) and assists (24) during the 2017 season and Delbarton in 2016 in goals (47) and points (70).

Personal: Born September 26, 1998 in Jacksonville, North Carolina to Aslam and Stacie Khan…Has an older brother, Nate and a younger sister, Mackenzie…Played high school lacrosse with TJ Comizio, Connor Kirst, and Colin Crowley and Delbarton and with Colin Hunt and the Hill Academy…Chose Villanova for its academic excellence and strong lacrosse program.

Colin Hunt
LSM, 6’0, 165, Burlington, Ontario, Canada, The Hill Academy

The Hill Academy: Played four year on the varsity men’s lacrosse team for Brodie Merrill…Helped his team win the 2017 Geico High School Lacrosse National Championship…Earned the Hill Pride Lacrosse Award (2016, 17)…Helped the Hill Academy go 26-1 over his final two season and earn a #1 national ranking in 2016 and a #3 ranking in 2017…Four time member of the academic honor roll…Received the Senior Social Sciences Award (2015-16) and the Hill Leadership Award (2016-17)…Also played two years of hockey.

Brendan Haggerty
Goalkeeper, 5’10, 185, Manhasset, N.Y., Manhasset

Manhasset: Earned three varsity letters in lacrosse for coaches Bill Cherry and Keith Cromwell and two in football for Henry Simkins…Finished with 284 career saves…Named All-County (2016, 17) and received the James Metzger Leadership Award (2017)…Earned High Honor Roll (2013-17), was named a NYPHSSA Scholar Athlete (2015-17), and a Nassau County Academic All-County selection (2016,17).

Personal: Born October 26, 1999 in New York, N.Y. to Sean and Kim Haggerty…Has two younger siblings, Aidan and Erin…Father, Sean ‘92, played lacrosse at Villanova and uncle, Todd, played lacrosse at Princeton…Chose Villanova for its excellent academics and competitive lacrosse program.

Stevie Peters
Attack, 5’6, 165, Camp Hill, Pa., Cumberland Valley

Cumberland Valley: Earned four varsity letters for coach Matt Healy…Finished with 215 points, 140 goals and 75 assists…Named a 2017 US Lacrosse All-American and to the PennLive First Team All-Star…Earned Mid-Penn Conference First Team Honors as a Midfielder in 2017, an Attack in 2016, and Second Team Attack in 2015…Named Sentinel Player of the Year (2015)…Was selected to the Sentinel First Team as a Midfielder (2017) and Attack (2016)…Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born April 23, 1999 in Hershey, Pa to David and Maureen Peters…Has one older brother, Evan… Plans to major in Business…Hobbies include ultimate Frisbee and freestyle skiing…Chose Villanova because I felt it was a great mix of academics, athletics, size, and location.

Colin Crowley
Midfield, 6’0, 180, Ridgewood, N.J., Delbarton

Delbarton: Earned varsity letters for coach Ruebling…Named a 2017 US Lacrosse All-American, US Lacrosse Joe Nazzaro Award Winner, and NJ Midfielder of the Year…Helped Delbarton win back-to-back (2016, 2017) State Championships…Was selected a First Team NJAC American (2016, 17), First Team Daily Record (2016), and First Team Fitch-Pitt Division (2017)…Was the 2017 recipient of the Matthew A. Atkinson Teamwork Award…Named a National Merit Scholar Commended Student (2017) and an AP Scholar (2016, 17).

Personal: Born October 30, 1998 in Mount Kisco, N.Y. to Charles and Elizabeth Crowley…Has three siblings, Claire, Edie, and Ian…Father, Charles, played football and rugby at Lehigh…Played high school lacrosse with teammates TJ Comizio, Connor Kirst, and Keegan Khan…Hobbies include golfing, fishing, and basketball…Chose Villanova because when I visited everyone was very welcoming and everyone had good things to say about the school.

Eric Overbay
Midfield, 5’11, 180, Alpharetta, Ga., Lambert

Lambert: Earned four varsity letters for coach Rich Wehman, Netted 114 goals and dished out 68 assists for 182 career points…Helped Lambert play for a state championship three times and win in 2016…Named to Under Armour’s 2016 Underclass All-American South Team…Earned First Team All-County (2014-17) and First Team All-Area (2015-17) honors…Named GHSA All-American and First Team All-State (2016-17)…Member of the National Honor Society, National Beta Club, and Spanish Honor Society.

Personal: Born March 27, 1999 in Atlanta, Ga to Blake and Joey Overbay…Has two younger brothers, Ryan and Tanner…Played soccer for the Georgia Olympic Development Program…Plans to major in Business…Enjoys skiing and being outdoors…Chose Villanova because of its very strong academics, good facilities and coaching staff, beautiful campus, and I wanted to play lacrosse up north.

Michael Clark

New Fairfield: Earned four varsity letters in lacrosse and three in football…Named the 2017 recipient of the US Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award…Earned All SWC-All Conference First team honors in 2016 and Honorable Mention in 2015…Member of the New Fairfield National Honor Society (2016, 17), Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, and the Alpha Beta Gamma International Business Honor Society.

Personal: Born September 13, 1999 in Danbury, CT. to Ken and Peggy Clark…Has three siblings, Matthew, Katie, and Heather…Older sister Katie, play lacrosse at Bryant…Plans to in Finance…Hobbies include fishing and working out…Chose Villanova because of the combination of the impressive academics and athletics offered.

Owen Prybylski
Defense, 6’1, 225, Westfield, N.J., Westfield

Westfield: Earned four varsity letters in lacrosse for head coach Pat Tuohy…Named an Under Amour All-American and earned All-American honors during his senior year…Helped his team win the County Championships in 2015, 16, and 17 and the Group IV State Championships in 2014…Named team captain his senior season…Collected 179 ground balls…Also earned three varsity letters in soccer for coach Eric Shaw…Won the County Championships in 2017.

Personal: Born October 22, 1998 in Westfield, N.J. to Hank and MaryJane Prybylski…Has three siblings, Molly, Luke, and Mack…Father, Hank, played lacrosse at Holy Cross while brother Luke, is a sophomore on the Villanova men’s lacrosse team…Enjoys skiing…Chose Villanova because loved the school and coaching staff along with both my sister and brother having gone here it wasn’t a hard choice.
