U.S. Indoor Lacrosse announced the roster and complete coaching staff for the U.S. Junior Indoor Lacrosse Team which will compete in the 2015 U19 Indoor Lacrosse Challenge at Six Nations, Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, in Ontario, Canada September 11-13.
The roster was narrowed down following three tryout weekends January-March held in Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA and Downingtown, PA., the roster was further trimmed during June-August following each of the three (3) training camps in Downingtown, PA and three three exhibitions played in Downingtown vs. Team Israel, Onondaga Arena, Nedrow, NY vs. Onondaga Redhawks and Essex arena, Burlington, VT vs. Vermont Voyageurs.

“The chance to represent the USA at this elite level is the ultimate honor in lacrosse,” said USIL President and GM Graham D’Alvia. “I am honored and look forward to the further development of this team as we represent our great country in this sport, both on and off the turf.”
Jonathan Palladino, Morgan Cheek, Gabriel Maxwell, William Cabrera, Wyn Blueye and Tyler O’Brien will lead a potent offense. While Jared Boothe, Zach Drake, Derek Andrews, Michael Kay, and Nigel Andrews headline the defensive side.
“We have assembled a talented and passionate group of lacrosse players whom all possess several key attributes we were looking for to give us the best opportunity for Gold in September. Beside pure lacrosse skills, we were looking for strong character, coach-ability, athleticism, and a team first attitude that all will best contribute to a family atmosphere and team success. Box lacrosse is a sport that demands a do anything for your brothers attitude and we have a group that not only will run and gun but will get down and dirty for each other when needed.” said Team USA Junior Indoor Head Coach Randy Fraser.
After careful consideration US Indoor Lacrosse also announced the selection of Keevin Galbraith, Justin Otto, Ryan Danehy as their Assistant Coaches. Galbraith played for five seasons with the Philadelphia Wings and New York Titans (NLL), and for Team USA in 2007. He began coaching the US Developmental Team in 2009, following his retirement as a player. Galbraith attended University of Delaware and was a four year defensive starter on the lacrosse team.
Galbraith runs 302 Lacrosse in Delaware. The All-Time Leading goal scorer at Manhattan College. He played on the U.S Developmental Box Lacrosse Team, professionally for the Boston Rockhoppers, Baltimore Bombers and Rhode Island Kingfish (NALL) as well as the Reading Rockets (PLL). Otto is the owner and director for Topside lacrosse located in New York. Danehy has served as a coach for the University of Michigan and Dartmouth College from which he graduated in 2006.
“Our coaching staff was chosen based on their ability to teach and relate their box lacrosse experience and knowledge to a mostly field lacrosse experienced group of players,” said Fraser. “All three of our assistant coaches also possesses a strong passion to help the next generation of players learn and appreciate box lacrosse, a game they all respect and understand fully. All of us have received many gifts from box lacrosse and giving back to the next generation and providing a platform for them to enjoy all the game has to offer is a passion we all share.”
Iroquois Nationals, Canada, Czech Republic, Nordic and Germany are among the 12 teams that will join the USA in the tournament.
