Ty Souders, who starred at Emmaus High and Lehigh University, has come back to the Lehigh Valley after being named head boys’ lacrosse coach at Southern Lehigh.

Souders was a two-time All-American and a team captain at Lehigh as well as a finalist for the prestigious Senior CLASS Award. The 2014 Lehigh grad was a three-time All-Patriot League pick and later was drafted by the Denver Outlaws of the MLL.
Souders was a Third-Team All-Phillylacrosse.com pick in 2009 for Emmaus, which won the District 11 titles in 2009 and 2010. He also played for the Duke’s Lacrosse Club.
Souders will be officially introduced as the head coach as a special press conference on Thursday at Southern Lehigh, which won the District 11 crown in 2016 when it went 19-3.
