The Warrior Diamond Showcase is one of the longest running fall recruiting showcases in the country. This is the ideal recruiting opportunity for the well-rounded student athlete that hopes to excel on the field and in the classroom in college. Directors put an emphasis not only on top lacrosse programs and also top academic schools in the DI, DII, and DIII levels. Space are limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come basis.
The showcase is held on the turf fields at St. Paul’s School near Baltimore. This event provides a better value than your average college prospect day because you will have the opportunity to play for and get coached by several coaches at different college levels during the day. The showcase features positional clinics and coaching seminars from college coaches. Parents will also have the opportunity to learn about the recruiting process directly from the college coaches.
Other key info: Coach Bill Dwan, the Associate Head Coach from Johns Hopkins University will speak about Division I recruiting process. This event was created to provide a showcase venue for the top players seeking to get recruited while competing against other top players. This one day showcase will offer a special opportunity for players in the 4 recruiting grades to be seen by what we expect to be a very large number of college coaches. The players will assemble early in the morning and be given teams to play on in a competitive venue whereby they will all play 3 games. The 2018 & “last chance 2017” players will compete with each other and the goal is to have the 2019 and 2020 grad years competing in separate divisions. In order to maintain the quality of this event, the showcase is committed to keeping each graduation year attendance to approximately only 175 players per graduation year.
