PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
COACHING
Our staff is compiled of four former or current professional players along with a field of other top-flight coaches and is widely regarded as one of the top staffs in the country. Fusion’s staff works with every single player in the program for every practice. All of us work with your 3rd grader all the way up to your 11th grader.
Our coaches are consistent. If you come to a practice you will see our star lineup of coaches each time!
DEVELOPMENT
Fusion believes that GREAT lacrosse players can be developed without necessarily being the biggest, fastest, or strongest athlete. Ask us about our training model which includes, maximum reps, game replicating drills, proper fundamentals consistently delivered by coaches, mental toughness tools, box lacrosse, and developing love and passion for the game. We are developers first!
BOX LACROSSE DEVELOPEMENT
If you don’t know it yet you should, that box lacrosse training is THE BEST WAY to gain an advantage over your peers.Simply, Fusion lacrosse is the best provider of box lacrosse training including 5 former or current NLL players on staff (Holmes, Crowley, Hoffman, Turner, Wiles). There is no greater concentration of box lacrosse coaches in the country at a given time then what Fusion provides on a regular basis. Fusion also trains at one of the best box facilities in the country in Bucksmont indoor Sports Center.
COLLEGE PREP AND RECRUITING
From day one Fusion lacrosse is prepping players with the mental and physical tools to be successful College players and young men! Our staff has been there and done that and the culture of success we surround players with is elite.
Fusion lacrosse has a recruiting infrastructure that includes not only direct lines from the coaching staff to numerous DI,II,and III colleges but also an online college placement tool and consistent support system led by our Directer of Recruiting Kevin Philibin (WC Rustin Head Coach). Fusion in its young age has already placed their student athletes with scholarships to DI, II, and III schools and those numbers are only rapidly growing!
ORGANIZATION AND COMMUNICATION
Fusion Lacrosse is a full time business with its offices located in downtown West Chester PA. We are a specialized and dedicated organization that devotes our full time energy to making the Fusion lacrosse experience GREAT! This is a full time venture for us and we are dedicated to professionalism and organization.
SPECIALIZATION
Fusion Lacrosse specializes in care, focus and development of each individual. In order to accomplish this we find it important to remain relatively small with our travel teams. We do not have B teams as to avoid diluting our product.
Fusion Travel teams are separated into 3 year blocks with Futures (3-5th grade), Juniors (6-8th grade) and Seniors (9th-11th grade). If you make one of our teams you are guaranteed a spot for the duration of your three year program. Once that program ends we will have an open tryout again. We want to make YOU great, not just pick up the most talented player at a given time.
MANAGABILITY
We encourage and find it crucially important for our athletes to participate in other sports and activities. We are a year round program but we regularly hold mini-camps for upwards of three hours which allows us to meet somewhat less frequently versus multiple shorter weekly practices. This frees up valuable time to do other things! This also encourages and allows for our players to come from a wide range of areas!
