The nation’s largest one-day high school event will be held April 23 at Radnor High at the 16th annual Katie Samson Foundation (KSF) Festival.
The event will feature 27 high school games with elite teams from Pennsylvania and around the Mid-Atlantic Region.
A crowd of up to 10,000 is expected to attend an event that has raised over $1.6 million for charities benefiting medical research and providing care for people with spinal cord injuries, research, patient care and quality of life.
Some of the top boys’ teams in the nation will compete, including defending Inter-Ac League and Inter-Ac Challenge champion Haverford School (the No. 1 team in the final 2015 Epoch Lacrosse/TopLaxRecruits.com Rankings), Hun School-N.J. (No 6) as well as Inter-Ac League powers Malvern Prep and Episcopal Academy, defending PIAA champion Radnor, defending District 1 champion Springfield-Delco and New England prep power Brunswick School (CT).
On the girls’ side, defending Inter-Ac and PA Private school champion Agnes Irwin (No. 3 in the final STEPS Lacrosse North America Rankings), defending PIAA champion Garnet Valley, defending District 1 champion Great Valley, and defending Central League champion Conestoga as well as state qualifiers Harriton, Radnor and Archbishop Carroll.
