Keystone State Games tryouts for the annual Keystone Games held at Penn State University July 25-26:
Bucks County
Tryouts for the 5th and 6th Grade BUCKS COUNTY Keystone State Games will take place on Tuesday, June 30 & Monday, July 6th, 6-8pm at Twin Oaks Park (3129 Bradley Rd, Warrington, PA 18976). Tryouts for the 7th and 8th Grade BUCKS COUNTY Keystone State Games will take place on Wednesday, July 1st and Tuesday, July 7th starting at 6-8 PM at George M. Bush Park (3868 Burnt House Hill Rd, Doylestown, PA 18902). Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to warm-up and to check-in. There is a $25 tryout fee collected at the tryout.
If selected to play for the Bucks County Area team, families should expect that the fees for tournament weekend will be approximately $440. This will cover event registration (approx. $65 paid directly to Keystone State Games), hotel rooms (2 night stay at approx. $150pn paid directly to the provider) and team uniforms (approx. $75). Transportation and meals are not included. More detailed info on the costs and other options will be sent out after the team is selected. Players/Parents will be expected to register within one week of being selected on the team or the roster spot will be reassigned. Please do not tryout if you do not intend to participate in the tournament (or practices).
Three/four practices will be held in July to prepare for the Keystone Games and we will make every effort to work around your summer tournament team schedules, if possible. Practices will be mandatory and will be scheduled at a later date. Expected roster size is approximately 22 players. Player must be a US Lacrosse Member in good standing through the end of July to tryout and attend the Keystone Games.

Bucks Senior Division
Bucks County Senior (HS) Division Keystone Team tryouts
When: Monday, July 6th (second tryout 7/13 if needed)
Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm
Where: Doylestown Central Park Pavilion Field, 452 Wells Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901
All 9-12 players that reside in Bucks County are eligible to attend this tryout, there will be no tryout fee. All players should bring full equipment and a numbered reversible pinnie.

If there is a conflict with the first tryout date but still interested please email coach regarding a second tryout with your information. Players that make the roster of 22 players will be expected to attend a minimum 2 team practices prior to the games held at Penn State. Financial expectation will be a minimum of $176.00 to cover uniform (shorts&pinnie), Keystone Games registration, and insurance. There is a team package with lodging cost available and more will be explained at the tryout.
Chester County HS Do you have what it takes to represent Chester County as a member of the Chester County All-Star team at the Keystone Lacrosse Championship?
There will be a tryout for boys lacrosse players who just finished 7th or 8th grade and would like to be considered for the Chester County All Star team that will compete at the Keystone Lacrosse Championship (see http://premiersportingevents.com/Layouts/lacrosse.htm).
Tryouts will be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30th and July 7th at Unionville High School. There is a $10 registration fee that will be collected prior to the tryout. Please respond to kporter986@gmail.com if you can make one or both of the tryouts.
You must live in Chester County. You can attend a private that is outside of Chester County.
Montgomery County
Tryouts for the MONTGOMERY COUNTY Keystone State Games will take place on Thursday July 2nd and Tuesday July 7th starting at 5:30pm (approx. 1.5 hours) at Upper Merion Area High School, 435 Crossfield Rd. King of Prussia 19406. Please arrive up to 15-30 minutes early to warm-up and to check-in. Please bring a numbered pinnie for tryouts.
If selected for the team, the Youth and Junior Division costs per player to participate is $125 which includes registration, insurance and uniforms. Rooms have been reserved for parents to book a stay for these teams at the Ramada Inn, parents are welcome to make their own arrangements as well. There are usually 2 practices the week before the games that are scheduled but not mandatory in order to participate.
The HS (Scholastic Division) cost is $275 and includes lodging, registration, insurance, uniforms and transportation from King of Prussia on Friday 7/24 and returning on Sunday 7/26. The team will stay at the Ramada Inn on Atherton Blvd. for Friday and Saturday nights. HS students are paired together and stay in a double occupancy room.

2015 Keystone Lacrosse Championship
July 25-26, 2015

DIVISIONS: Both Male and Female Teams
Youth – Grades 5-6
Junior – Grades 7-8
Scholastic – Grades 9-11
ELIGIBILITY:
An athlete must meet ONE of the following criteria:
– A full-time Pennsylvania resident within the region for 30 days prior to first day of tryouts.
– A full-time Pennsylvania student at a recognized academic institution in the region.
All grades as of Spring 2015, school year. Lacrosse players may only compete in one division in one event.
DESCRIPTION: Teams in each division will compete in round robin pool play on Saturday, leading to Qualifying and Medal Rounds on Sunday. Pool play standings will determine positions for Qualifying Rounds. Roster size will be a maximum of 22 players.
A total of 16 Teams in the Junior Division and 16 Teams in the Scholastic Division will be eligible to compete at this year’s premier championship event. 8 Teams are eligible for the Youth Division. There are a total of 12 Regions so teams may be eligible to bring more than one team to represent their region.
