About Our Coaches

The Shipley School, a Pre-K through grade 12 day school founded in 1894 is located in Bryn Mawr, PA and has been the class of the Friends Schools League in boys’ lacrosse in recent years, winning five consecutive league titles during an ongoing 35-game league winning streak that ended in 2014. Outside of league play, Shipley boys’ lacrosse has enjoyed much success, amassing a 126-47 record since 2005. During that time, the program has produced two All-State performers, and one All-American, while accumulating the only seven lacrosse titles in 20-plus years of boys’ lacrosse played in school history

The Shipley School won its first ever Friends Schools League Championship in 2006 and in 2005 won its first Northeast League Championship with Duncan at the helm advancing to the EPSLA state playoffs each year. He was named Coach of the Year in both the Main Line Times and Main Line Life newspapers in 2005 and in the Northeast League.
