This session is for boys who have had minimum exposure to lacrosse, as well as those with some experience looking to fine tune their stick skills. They will work in small group settings on the fundamental aspects of the game. Some 3v3 play will be introduced as a fun way to learn game strategy.

The JCU Men’s Lacrosse program will host an extensive skills camp designed for high school players with anticipated graduation years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Price: $150 (rate for registrations on or after October 2)
This experience is designed for young men in high school lacrosse interested in developing their skills and potential for collegiate lacrosse.
Participants WILL NEED to bring a water bottle and applicable gear: stick, helmet, shoulder pads, cleats, mouth guard, gloves and sneakers for indoor use. NOTE: Equipment is mandatory for participation. Lunch and JCU information session will be provided. Please plan to arrive and check in at 8:45 am at Don Shula Stadium.

Lehigh Men’s Lacrosse Prospect ID Clinics on Oct. 25 and Dec. 5. Time: 1-5PM (Check in 12:15 PM), for 2018’s and 2019’s. About the Clinics: These clinics are designed for elite level high school players (class of ’18 & ’19). It will allow for the athlete to compete against top level competition while working with the Lehigh coaching staff and players. The day will start with small group positional skill work and progress into full field games. This is an ideal setting for the athletes to showcase their skill, athleticism and knowledge of lacrosse to the Lehigh coaching staff. The clinic experience allows for the athlete to experience Lehigh University.

Face-Off Leagues
Philly Face-Off League, a club where starting face-off players for their respective school or club teams can meet once a week to not only practice their skills against each other, and receive elite coaching. In order to be a part of the league you must have at least one year of experience facing-off at a high level for your school or club team. This league is not for beginners. This is an IDEAL clinic for face-off guys who want to compete against other quality face-off players for 90 minutes while receiving individualized instruction if needed.
The Philadelphia Face-Off League is run by John Bodnar (Episcopal Academy, NXT Lacrosse) and Mike Dolente (Dukes Lacrosse Club). They both have an extensive background in working with some of the best face-off guys in the area and are asking for more guys to compete. This fall they will continue to be indoors at the Main Line Sports Center in Berwyn.

Duke’s Lacrosse Club Faceoff Days, a weekly Fall clinic series open to all boys in grade 3 through 12 at Academy of New Church Athletic Complex, 601 Tomlinson RD Bryn Athyn PA, 19009. The clinics will be directed by new Duke’s Face-Off Director and Young Guns assistant coach Mike Poppleton, an MLL standout and member of the US National Training Team. The clinics will be held on eight Saturdays at Academy of the New Church in Bryn Athyn beginning Oct. 17. Each Duke Lacrosse faceoff Day will consist of technique along with a substantial amount of time spent on live face-offs. Every Saturday the draw day will start with a normal face-off warm up, dive in deeper with one specific face-off technique (footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, shooting), and will finish with live face-offs and a king of hill.
When: Oct 17th, Oct 24th, Nov 7th, Nov 14th, Nov 21st, Nov 28th, Dec 5th, Dec 12th. Times: All sessions 10-11:30 am. Duke’s Draw Days are for players of all Ages and Skill Level. Box Leagues
Bucksmont Winter Box League, Fusion operated and US Box Lacrosse Certified, entering its third year. Fusion’s winter Box League has proven to be one of the best, if not the best way your team can train over the winter months. Two weeks of instruction are followed by an 8-week league culminating with a last day tournament and championship. Details:
Dates: Dec 6th- Feb 28th (Sunday mornings between 7:30am-12pm); Location: Bucksmont Indoor Sports Center (Hatfield Pa)
Divisions: 5/6 combined (6 teams), 2021 (6 teams), 2020 (6 teams); Gameplay:< 3, 16 minute periods. Timeouts and time serving penalties in play. Referees: US Box Lacrosse Certified referees and rulebook. We provide the most experienced staff in the area led by Paul Kubach. Format: 2-weeks of instruction followed by 8 weeks of league games. Two weeks of instruction is critical for safety, rules, offensive and defensive sets in what is still a relatively new version of the game for many teams and players. Coaches are encouraged to join our staff on the floor for these sessions.
Cost: $2200 per team *500 deposit necessary to secure your spot. *There will also be a $45 US Box insurance Fee per player.

Charity Banquet
Fourth Annual EVANFEST Lacrosse Banquet, Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Drexelbrook Catering in Drexel Hill. Once again, the event will feature big-name speakers and a program that fittingly honors a youth tournament and foundation in Evan Brady’s name that has raised over $1 million in funds for families with children that have life-threatening diseases. Individual banquet tickets are $85 and various sponsorships are available; the event runs from, 6:30-9 p.m. Click here to purchase a ticket. The first hour of the program features an open bar and time for attendees to mingle. This event is a celebration of the Philadelphia Lacrosse Community and its dedication to recognizing the many ways the community assists in helping people’s lives off the field as well as on the field. Evan Brady was a youth lacrosse standout who battled osteogenic sarcoma (bone cancer) for several years until passing away at the age of 19 in 2005. The eighth annual EVANFEST lacrosse festival will be held in April 2016 at Malvern Prep. EVANFEST draws more than 40 boys’ youth lacrosse teams in the U-15 and U-13 divisions. The Master of Ceremonies for the event again is Philly lacrosse standout goalie Brian Dougherty, the head coach at Chestnut Hill College and a recent inductee into the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame. The special guest speaker features legendary Temple University men’s basketball coach Fran Dunphy.
