The Penn State men’s lacrosse team opens up the 2018 season at No. 12 in the USILA/Nike Lacrosse Division I Preseason Coaches poll that was announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.
The Nittany Lions are one of five Big Ten teams ranked, with reigning NCAA Champion Maryland coming in at No. 1, Rutgers at No. 7, NCAA finalists Ohio State at No. 8, and Johns Hopkins at No. 11.
The 2018 Penn State men’s lacrosse schedule will also feature a pairing with No. 18 Penn.
Penn State will host Army, who is No. 16, in a final preseason exhibition game on Saturday, January 27 at 1 p.m., before opening the regular season on Saturday, February 3 with a 1 p.m. game against Villanova.
