The Team 11/Sankey Lacrosse 5/6 grade A Division team won the championship last weekend at the Northeast Regional Box Tournament held in Hatfield PA. The event was sponsored by Fusion Lacrosse.
Team 11 wins Mid-Atlantic Regional championship
Team 11 swept the competition defeating Fusion Blue, Tri State, Fusion VA., and Super Star, while dominating a Team 91 squad 8-4 in the final.
Team 11 was coached by program founder, Joey Sankey, Ryan Sankey, and Jerry Albrecht. Players participating included Karson Seth, Alex Greenspan, Blake Bishop, Peter Punchello, Matt Jacobson, Luke Lehman, Landon Albrecht, Eddie Rafalowski, Rocco Fanelli, Cormac Keech, Frankie Fanelli, Jevyn Dyer, Colton Albrecht, Joey Cataldo, Ryan Colsher, and Levi Souder.
The Team 11 7/8 grade squad, coached by Joey Sankey and RJ Ippolito, went undefeated in pool play only to lose a close final, 5-4, to Fusion Blue.
