Summary: Our training philosophy is simple: world-class instruction from world-class defenders. The waters of lacrosse instruction are murky, and we want to help you navigate. Does that mean we only work with elite players? No. But it does mean that – regardless of skill level – players are going to receive the best defensive instruction in the world.
D-Days: A series of 90-minute training sessions developed by world-class defenders Kyle Hartzell and Tucker Durkin. Note: Tucker Durkin will be hosting and training our Philadelphia D-Day Series.
When: October 9th, October 23rd, and October 29th; each D-Day will run from 6:00PM – 7:30PM
Where: Bryn Athyn College, located at 2945 College Dr, Bryn Athyn, PA 19009; training sessions will be hosted on the primary outdoor field.
Who: Sessions will be segmented by age-group, with high-school and middle-school groups competing separately. This will ensure an appropriate matching of skill. Players should have at least one year of playing experience, just so there is a foundation to build upon. D-Day training sessions are designed to help players of all skill levels improve, so don’t worry about skill gaps or potential inexperience. We all share the common goal of improvement – regardless of our skill level today.
Sessions: Players are encouraged to register for as many sessions as possible in order to maximize their training. Each session will be unique to ensure breadth and depth of instruction around the defensive skill-set. Players may register for sessions individually, or for the entire series at a discount. Note: Series purchase does not include small group training, which must be purchased on an individual basis.
Small Group Training: 1-hour of small group (5 player max) training to take place after each D-Day event. Small group training provides an opportunity for additional personalized instruction to ensure players maximize growth and potential. Each small group training will include video critique and feedback areas for improvement.
