Rising Sons is Philadelphia’s Elite Travel Team that trains year round with the top coaches in the region. Our training staff is nationally renowned and have very accomplished resumes. The Sons will compete in the most challenging showcase events versus the nation’s top teams to maximize exposure. Our players receive direct invites to the top individual showcase recruiting events. With a mantra of “Just Get Better”, our training is centered around doing the little things right that will enable and prepare our kids to play at the high school and collegiate levels.

Both sets of tryouts are for Fall 2017 and Summer 2018. We would prefer that players play in both the fall and the summer. However, you may choose to just play in the summer. Only playing in the fall is not an option in our program.
It is recommended that players attend two dates at one of the sites. We will add players to our rosters after the August 1st tryout and the August 27th tryout.

Tryouts will be structured in a clinic format run by Dan Deckelbaum and Elevated Lacrosse Staff with high school or college coaching experience. Besides trying out, players will get instruction from the coaching staff. Interested players are only required to make one evaluation. We will not be cutting any players.
Players not making the tournament teams will be offered a position in the Elevated Lacrosse core training academy. The core training academy will focus on skill progression, lacrosse IQ and teaching the skills needed to play lacrosse at a higher level. The core training academy includes the West Chester Lacrosse Summer League (6 games June-July). Spots will be open on tournament teams for players to be invited to tournaments from the core training academy based on practice performance and skill progression.

Black Bear offers quality coaching and instruction from our coaching staff which is made up of current high school head/assistant coaches as well as veteran youth coaches who’ve played at the college level. We also have current college players from Division 1 and 3 schools that have an extensive coaching background working with and helping kids develop!
Cost is $25 Per player Walk Up Registration will be available, please arrive an hour early for walk up registration and 30-45 minutes prior to try out time.

Player evaluations are currently underway for rising 2nd – 7th grade boys looking to join an Olde English travel team for the 2017-18 season. A limited number of open positions are currently available on the 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 & 2027/28 teams with some rosters already close to full.
Olde English has opened individual player evaluations for the 2017-18 season and interested families can schedule to try out with one of our current travel teams through the end of July. Open spots will be filled on a rolling basis and when a roster fills, we will close that age group. In addition, Olde English will be hosting two late summer open practices to fill any remaining unfilled positions on Sunday, August 20th and Sunday August 27th.
