Black Bear Youth will be training, coaching and developing players graduating in the 2022-2025/26 (4th through 8th grade). We offer our players year round playing opportunities with skill sessions and tournaments in the fall, box immersion/training sessions in the winter, and off-season position specific training year round featuring our highly skilled and knowledgeable coaching staff!
We Offer to Black Bear Players:
Quality Coaching and Instruction from our coaching staff which is made up of current high school head/assistant coaches as well as veteran youth coaches who’ve played at the college level. We also have current college players from Division 1 and 3 schools that have an extensive coaching background working with and helping kids develop!
Black Bear is an American Indoor Lacrosse Association integrated program which means that our players and coaches will also learn the bio mechanics, principles, strategies and tactics of indoor lacrosse and how to transfer these skill sets to their field game from AILA President Johnny Mouradian and his AILA staff. We place a MAJOR focus on learning BOX lacrosse and offer our members opportunities in the winter to get quality instruction through the AILA and our staff.
Year Round Training/Playing-Our players, once selected, begin training together once per week, starting October 1st all the way through to February to develop TEAM CHEMISTRY, Athletic Skill Sets, and Lacrosse IQ. They will get coaching from both their club coach and the rest of our entire coaching staff. Our program is designed to give our members every opportunity to take their game to the next level. We are focused on the full development of our players both on and OFF the field!
