Washington and Lee University attackman A.J. Witherell (Salesianum School) and Hampden-Sydney College head coach Jason Rostan headline the 2017 All-ODAC Men’s Lacrosse awards, as the two were named ODAC Player of the Year and ODAC Coach of the Year. 
Witherell, a sophomore from Wilmington, Del., has had strong two seasons in Lexington as he pairs this honor with the conference’s top rookie award last year. Witherell led all ODAC players with 88 points as a true playmaker.
He’s fifth in the league in both goals scored and assists, racking up 52 tallies and 36 helpers. He registered at least two points in each of his 17 games played and scored a goal in all but one contest. He notched four or more points in a game 14 times, including season-highs of eight points on three separate occasions.
Witherell, who led the ODAC in shots with 160, added 55 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers to his stat line.
