No. 9 Cabrini raised its 17th consecutive CSAC title after today’s 18-6 win over visiting Marywood.
Cabrini won its 17th straight CSAC championship
Senior Evan Downey (Palmyra, PA/Palymra) was named the championship game’s MVP after posting two goals, as assist, six ground balls and two caused turnovers, becoming the 12th player in program history to record 100 career goals.
Freshman Jake Klein (Wernersville, PA/Wilson West Lawn) added a career high eight points on three goals and five assists, while sophomore Timmy Brooks (Haverford School) tallied three goals to reach 100 career points.
Cabrini women win title
Cabrini’s women claimed their sixth consecutive CSAC championship with today’s 20-9 win over visiting Marywood.
Sophomore Liz Hoeffner was named MVP after scoring an astounding 10 goals. Senior Allie Vallen (Maple Shade, NJ/Maple Shade) added a career high eight points on four goals and four assists.
