US Lacrosse today announced that applications for players wishing to try out for the 2018 U.S. Men’s National Team are now available. Tryouts will be held July 9-11, 2017, at the new national team training center at the US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md.
Interested candidates can apply for consideration to be invited to try out and will be evaluated by a selection committee including the current U.S. men’s national team coaching staff, led by head coach John Danowski. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and a U.S. citizen. Candidates must also be current members of US Lacrosse through the end of tryouts.
Completed applications must be submitted to US Lacrosse no later than April 21, 2017. Invitations will be extended on April 28, 2017, and invited players must confirm their participation by May 5, 2017.

The U.S. men’s national team has amassed a 59-4 all-time record in international play, claiming gold at nine World Championships (1967, 1974, 1982, 1986, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2010).
