Voting is now open at Drexeldragons.com for the selection of Drexel’s 75th anniversary lacrosse team. The 75th anniversary team will be chosen by a combination of fan voting, the Drexel Men’s Lacrosse Alumni Committee and the Drexel Lacrosse Administration. Voting will conclude on Friday, January 20 at 5 p.m.
The team will be announced this spring and recognized on April 22. The 75th anniversary festivities will culminate in Drexel’s final regular-season home game against Delaware on April 22. The 75th anniversary team will be honored at halftime of the game against the Blue Hens. In addition, the team will be wearing throwback jerseys in their contest against Delaware. These game worn jerseys will be auctioned off as part of a silent auction which will take place in the spring. There will be a postgame alumni reception after the game.
