The Duke’s Lacrosse Club National U11 team weas a perfect 3-0 on the first day of play today at the NDPLacrosse Dick’s Tournament of Champions in Wesley Chapel, FL. Meanwhile, the U13 team finished 2-1.

Duke’s L.C. Nationals went 2-1 in the first day of play in the U13 Division at the NDP Lacrosse Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions
The U11 team routed three foes, Cape Fear Shamrocks (NC) 12-0; Valley Select 2023 (VA) 11-4; and Empire Elite (FL) 15-1. Dukes is the only 3-0 team in the division besides Team 91. Dukes meets Louisville Kings Select 2023 (KY) at 8 a.m. Friday in its final pool play game.
The U13 team closed with a tough 4-3 loss to Carolina Lite (N.C.). That left Dukes as the No. 2 seed in Pool 3. Dukes will meet Pool 4 No. 3 seed Venom KC (MO) in gthe first round of the playoffs Friday at 8 a.m. Venom went 1-2.
The U13 team opened with a 3-1 win over Cherokee Xtreme Lacrosse (GA) and an 11-0 rout of Shore Kaos Lax (MD) before bowing to Carolina Lite.
