Cameron Callands profile:

Cameron Callands
High School: Springfield Township High School (Montco)
Graduation Year: 2017
Position: Midfielder
College Committed to: Immaculata University
Club Affiliation: Bandits Lacrosse
Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: Lehigh University Lax Fest, Patriots Lax Tournament, Rider University Tournament, Trilogy Delaware Tournament, Uplax Maryland Summer Shootout Tournament, Sallisbury University Prospect Camp, Franklin & Marshall Prospect Camp, Immaculata Prospect Camp
What will you major in/study? Exercise Science
Why did you choose this school? “I first became interacted in Immaculata at their prospect day. The moment I stepped on the field I knew that this had to be my top choice for commitment, not to mention it already felt like home. Immaculate provides me with excellent academics and a lacrosse program that will provide new techniques to improve my field work; along with a coaching staff that will encourage me not only on the field but also in my studies of exercise science. This is why I decided to commit to Immaculata.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “Now that the 2016 class of senior lacrosse players is gone, this leaves the new 2017 seniors in charge of carrying our team to the district playoffs. Though our team is young we have many talented players and with a natural ability to play lacrosse all you have to do is practice. We may be a small team, but we all have heart. I will make it my personal task to help a lot of the younger players improve their strength on the weights/field work and offer advice for those who need it. By communicating and working together, we hope to reach the district playoffs.”
People to thank: “I want to thank my family for driving me to all the club games, prospect camps, and supporting my High School games. I want to thank my teammates from club and high school. Lastly, I want to thank Coach Resch from Springfield HS and and Coach Burns from the Bandits who helped me to get where I am today.”
Other schools considered: Rosemont College and Kings College
