Lafayette men’s lacrosse head coach Jim Rogalski has announced the team’s 2017 spring schedule.
The Leopards will face four teams that at least received votes in the final Inside Lacrosse rankings at the end of the 2016 season, including two teams in the top 15. All four are Patriot League opponents as Loyola and Navy finished in the eighth and 14th positions, while Army and Bucknell received votes.
Lafayette will open its non-conference slate with a trip to the Big House, battling Michigan in Ann Arbor on Feb. 11. The Patriot League opener is slated for Feb. 25 as the Leopards host Loyola at Fisher Stadium at 12:00 p.m.
Bethlehem, Pa. will play host to the 2017 installment of The Rivalry between Lafayette and Lehigh on March 18 at 1:00 p.m., while the Leopards will host Senior Day on April 15 against Bucknell at 1:00 p.m. The Patriot League Tournament is set for April 25-30.

Head coach Alison Fisher (Hatboro-Horsham) of the Lafayette women’s lacrosse team announced the team’s 2017 schedule on Thursday afternoon.
The 2017 slate features eight games at Fisher Stadium, including three during the non-conference portion and five in the league season. The Leopards will face three teams that were receiving votes in the final Inside Lacrosse rankings at the end of the 2016 season. Patriot League foe Loyola finished at number 20, while Rutgers and Navy were in the conversation, receiving votes in the 24th and 26th spots.
A meeting with Longwood opens the season on Feb. 12 at 1:00 p.m., while Rutgers and Villanova are the other Leopard home non-conference games on Feb. 21 and March 15. A home match-up with Army kicks off the Patriot League season on March 18 at 1:00 p.m. and the Lehigh game returns to Fisher Stadium on April 19, a 7:00 p.m. tilt.
Senior Day is set for April 29 versus Navy before the Patriot League Tournament gets underway on May 2. The semifinal round will follow on May 5 and the tournament will conclude with the championship on May 7.
