The Ohio State men’s lacrosse team welcomed 12 freshmen to the program this fall. The class includes players from 10 states and provinces, with two from both Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and one from British Columbia, California, Florida, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Ontario and Virginia.
“We are adding a great group of men to the Buckeye family,” Nick Myers, Ohio State head coach, said. “As a whole, they address the needs we had following the graduation of last year’s seniors. They have developed through strong high school programs from a diverse group of states and provinces. All of the freshmen are outstanding athletically and are great students who are excited to be Buckeyes.”
Christian Feliziani
Faceoff, 5-9, 165
Boothwyn, Pa./ Episcopal Academy
2016 U19 World Championship: Won a gold medal with Team USA … played in all six games, picking up 17 groundballs and winning 33-of-47 faceoffs.
Episcopal Academy: Four-year letterwinner … two-time US Lacrosse All-American … two-time first team all-state, all-area and all-league honoree … Under Armour All-American … four-year member of NXT Lacrosse club … three year letterman in football and two-time letterwinner in wrestling … school’s all-time receiving yards leader in football; was a three-time all-county selection and a first team all-league honoree as a senior … all county honoree in wrestling.
Personal: Son of Lucy and Anthony… has two sisters, Ariana and Felicity, and a brother, Anthony… enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports and fishing.

“I chose Ohio State because of the combination of great academics and great athletics. I grew up a Buckeye fan and knew the moment I stepped on campus it is the place for me. I felt a strong connection with Coach Myers when I first met him and immediately knew I would love to play for him.”

Wilson: 2016 Berks County Player of the Year and first team all-county … two-time captain … won team’s Offensive MVP award … Top 5 in the state in points (127) and assists (64); assist total was a District 3 record for a single season … member of four county championship squads and team won district title in 2016 … All-American … played for NXT lacrosse club … also played soccer and earned second team all-county honors and was a two-time letterwinner as a goalie for the water polo team.
Personal: Son of Donna and Mark … has two older siblings, Zack and Maddie, who is on the women’s lacrosse team at Oregon … would like to be a lacrosse coach … enjoys hiking, playing ping pong and watching movies.
Terefenko on why he chose Ohio State:
“I chose Ohio State because of the numerous majors and the academic opportunities it provides. The rich history, traditions and athletic facilities are second to none. Also, I wanted to compete for Big Ten championships and national championships. Combine all of that with a great coaching staff and I just knew Ohio State was the right place for me.”
