Registration is open for the West Chester Elevated Lacrosse Club for youth boys on Aug. 21 & 23 at Kelly Field in West Chester.
Tryouts:
When: August: 21, 23 (24th rain date).
Where: Kelly Field- 601 Westtown Rd, West Chester, PA.
Cost: $15 per 90 minute tryout.

Tryouts will be structured in a clinic format teaching and evaluating stick skills, lacrosse IQ and game situations. Tryouts will be run by Dan Deckelbaum and WC Elevated Lacrosse staff. Besides trying out, players will get instruction from the coaching staff. Interested players are not required to make both evaluations but making at least one is required. We will not be cutting any players.
Players not making the tournament teams will be offered a position in the Elevated Lacrosse core training program. The core training includes games and scrimmages but will focus on practice, individual skill progression, playing team lacrosse, lax IQ and includes the West Chester Lacrosse Summer League (6 games June-July).
Approximately 15 players will be invited to tournament teams with 3 positions open for core training players to participate in each tournament. Player selection will be based on practice performance and positional need.

Summer- 12-16 practices or games June-July weeknights (3 tournaments)
2016-17 Cost: Tournament Teams: $800 per player. Includes 1 fall, 3 summer tournaments & the items listed below.
WC Elevated Lacrosse Core Training Program: $450 per player.
20-25 practices or games, specialist training for face offs & goalies, summer league, local pro players & coaches as guest coaches each season, uniform & shooter shirt, discounts on WC summer camp, fall and winter clinics.

West Chester Elevated Lacrosse Club (WCEL) is a Fall & Summer program designed to teach individual skill progression, lacrosse IQ, team concepts, and provide competitive game play. The WCEL program will be competitive, intense and fun while also being a cost-effective alternative to other club programs. Our approach is a practice first mentality. Practice is where players improve and games are where players are tested. The ultimate goal is to provide a fun environment where players develop lacrosse skills and knowledge to play at a higher competitive level in high school or college. WCEL will never compete with Chester County Lacrosse Association events; there will be no events during spring lacrosse season.
– Every team will have at least one coach with high school or college coaching experience.
– A line of communication will always be open from coach to parents and players for feedback
