Max Paparozzi scored early in overtime off a transition feed from to lift Brotherhood Lacrosse (N.J.) to a 9-8 victory over Force Storm (OH) Sunday in the 2019 championship game at the Victory Events Boys Summer Slam at Westtown School.

“I saw the ball coming down and caught it and just put it in the back of the goal,” said Paparozzi, a 2019 who attends Northern Highland (N.J.). “We got the fast break and Jon Corey always looks for me.”
Brotherhood won all six of its games, but few by a large margin, and outscored its opponents just 41-31.
“I think we were a go hard and grind team,” said Paparozzi. “We kept working hard and we got the win.”
