The West Chester East boys’ lacrosse team (1-0) will face St. John’s Prep College today at Banner Field at the Under Armour headquarters in Baltimore’s Locust Point.
The St. John’s Cadets (4-2) are coached by West Chester East grad Bobby Horsey, who starred at Loyola and played for the MLL champion Philadelphia Barrage. Horsey also is a life long friend of East coach Jim Schorn.
Schorn coached against Horsey when Horsey played at East and Schorn was a coach at Downingtown High also coached him as a member as a Duffers men’s team. After the game Loyola is hosting the East squad.
